SUSECON 2026

Demopalooza

Abstract

The Connected Ecosystem Metro Line

At SUSEcon 2026, we took the keynote stage by storm with Demopalooza, a fast-paced, live-demo journey across seven “stations” showcasing the future of enterprise open source and agentic AI.

Anchored by the Model Context Protocol (MCP), we demonstrated how AI is evolving from a simple chatbot into the connective tissue of the enterprise infrastructure. Instead of just talking about the future, we ran live, end-to-end automation workflows that bridged the digital and physical worlds.

What We Covered Across the Metro Line: The AI-Ready OS (SLES): Introduced SLE 16.1 and its native MCPHost, demonstrating self-healing infrastructure, proactive certificate tracking, and automated playbook creation.

Hands-Free Operations (SAP & Trento 3.0): Showcased AI-powered root-cause analysis, natural language configuration checks, and automated drift remediation for critical SAP workloads.

Fleet Command (Multi-Linux Manager): Proven zero-trust fleet security by executing a single natural language command to identify and patch vulnerabilities across a heterogeneous mix of SLES, RHEL, and Ubuntu systems.

AI-Driven Kubernetes (Rancher Prime): Introduced “Liz,” the conversational AI assistant that coordinates a “crew of agents” to diagnose broken apps, live-migrate overloaded virtual machines, and enforce secure image policies.

The Takeaway: A masterclass in how open-source innovation, zero-trust security, and governed AI are colliding to turn complex enterprise operations into a seamless, intelligent ecosystem.
